Cant wait for a tropical vacation? I totally recommend this for budget travelers. Geographically, Tulum is essentially a town with an adjacent, long road that stretches along the beach. Generally, the hotels on the Beach Road North have less crowded beaches, but there are significantly fewer restaurants in walking distance.
We stayed in one of their Jungle Suites, which is one of the more affordable rooms in the hotel. AC is available overnight from 7PM-9AM. One thing to note is that there are no street lights along the beach road, so its best not to bike at night. Plus youll get to punch up your Instagram feed with envy-inducing photos and beach quotes! There are rooms on both the beach and jungle side of the road, some with shared baths. Some rooms have the Tulum-signature thatched roof and sea views. Their jungle rooms feature private (+ romantic!) People who arent guests of the hotel wont be permitted to use beach loungers, though, unless the hotel has a beach club and allows day guests.
