I came to Bouganville for the 2nd time. You can't hear it at the resort but it can be quite loud when walking the beach.

Very nice Resort, Horrible water at the beach.
Staff is attentive and courteous ( Joel, Joachin, Jose ,Erika, Daniel, Yohan, Isral) .The gym was closed for renovations. Guests at Bouganville can use any pool at either resort, but non-motorized water sports (snorkeling, kayaks, catamaran, windsurfing and boogie boards) are limited to one free hour per day. 
The beach was very nice and clean., The quiet pool was very clean. This property is part of the Travel Sustainable program, which means its taken significant steps to make your stay more sustainable. We stayed on the Adults side which is much newer and has some separate dining facilities and a separate beach (it was quite funny seeing the glares of people on the Adult side when people from the family resort inevitably crossed the ropes and took spots on the adult side of the beach).
Our stay was enjoyable. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated. Nice small resort that you will be pampered in. There were almost no bugs. The, An all adult vacation was great! Loved the accommodations, but was very disappointed in the beach. Theres nothing much to do outside of the resort for miles in either direction, but day trips can be arranged for snorkeling and scuba diving. Expect a little confusion here -- many staff do not speak English -- and the guests who need to continue on to the Bouganville side will be escorted to a private outdoor area before they are finally transported, via smaller vehicle, to their own lobby next door. Guests can enjoy a night out at the on-site nightclub and casino. We find Bahia PC getting too big with many more people and the beaches and pools not growing. They went out of their way to insure your needs and likes were met, starting from the check-in process, to food service, bar and all amenities. The resort is certainly a five star. Large, well appointed rooms, beautiful grounds.

The only negatives are is that it is an 1.5 hour bus ride from the Punta Cana airport to the resort and the beach is not small but isn't huge. An amazing luxury resort - wonderful suites, beautiful views on the palw trees beach, incredible food and warm great extremely friendly professional service. They make you feel you wanna just live there forever, Friendly staff, clean beach, nice pools good selection of restaurants. Bahia Principe Luxury Bouganville - Adults Only All Inclusive accepts these cards and reserves the right to temporarily hold an amount prior to arrival. The staff are well educated and super service-oriented. Great location - show map, very nice, good restaurants, and most of all I loved the beach. The only down side is that the nearest rooms are in back of one of the pools so you do not feel like you are really seaside or seeing the water so much through all the other stuff. - New Year's Eve dinner was amazing.
