The most important part of the headphone, the headband, is reinforced by a metal band that inspires even more confidence. In terms of sound, Skullcandy's signature bass-heavy sound is alive and well in the Hesh 3. On the other hand, the Hesh 3have a better microphone for calls and are less expensive. The Mpow have a decent ANC feature while the Hesh 3 only passively isolate, which makes the Mpows better suited for the office and while commuting. Sound-wise, the Skullcandy headphones are really bass-heavy, so fans of EDM and dubstep might prefer their sound profile. Plus and minus volume keys stand out in low relief that your fingertips can feel with ease, and when pressed, they have a lovely little click.
