However, there are so many products in the SoftWorks line, it is probably not an issue finding what you need. Compared to the Oxo SoftWorks peeler, this peeler slightly wins out because it features a ridged, or rippled grip on the handle, making it more comfortable to hold if you are peeling a lot at one time. Im heartbroken. I toyed with buying The team found inspiration from an unlikely place: a Herman Miller Setu chair. The wet or dark color is sealed, the rest is not. The flour lid keeps coming off, dumping flour all over. Also I can pull the tops right off so how in the world could they be airtight? As someone who eyeballed it every time she made rice, the measurement markings make it much simpler. I have a large OXO POP container that I bought from the Container Store and the Softworks 9-piece set that I bought from Costco.

Keep turning out quality products if it is a OXO you can be sure it is the best. While POP was designed with dry food storage in mind, we noticed the containers showing up beyond the kitchen. Airtight should be water tight, when I water tested my 1.1qtz they all had some type of leakage when turned upside down with water. NOT worth your money. They merely expand but barely enough to create a seal. I will not buy those: They are flimsy and cheap feeling, the lid can be pulled right off horrible seal, and they DO NOT stack with the old style.

The Oxo Good Grips Can Opener is worth the investment because of the large, comfortable grip and oversized knob. Returning. The seals are no longer airtight. I use mine everyday. The push button on SoftWorks containers is a rounded square, and Good Grips are circles. Desperately trying to find the old kind anywhere online used. I thought all these terrible things because of this comment thread. This can put a massive strain on the quality of the item and how it performs so if you want quality you will probably be looking at OXO, but it can be hard to know whether to pick the Soft Works or Good Grips range.

The new ones barely have any seal and can be removed while sealed quite easily. Designers are NOT real users. I didnt know OXO had changed their design until I started washing all the tops and found they dont open with an easy twist like the other ones did. They are quite wobbly when you mix the sets and stack them. 
They do NOT think of what is important. Aside from the sense of satisfaction it gives you, it signals that the container is properly sealed. Thankfully I read the reviews before I invested anymore money.

I contacted customer support and shared a video of the lid sliding out and was told that: these are air tight but not vacuum sealed containers, that the lids will feel a little loose, that I should not lift the containers by the lid, and that nothing is wrong with the containers that I purchased. Just how many Consistent COMPLAINTS does it take for Oxo to Step Up and Correct a very Clear FLAW ?? So these are a mislabeled product then, right? My favorite was the brown sugar keeper. The lid has failed as the button is stuck down and will not pop up again. If you are looking for the latest in design and look, Oxo Good Grips stands above SoftWorks products. The button rarely pops up all the way but no need to use the button because the lid is very easily lifted with 2 fingers. SoftWorks containers have square-rounded edges, whereas the Good Grips are slightly more rounded. I was so disappointed when I brought it home and it was not the same as the other containers that I already had. SoftWorks products include gadgets such as shower squeegees, salad spinners, and vegetable peelers. It is a shame that you have ruined what was a great product. Every one of them is larger volume capacity for the same shelf space they take up. Most retailers give only the capacity in litres, which is pretty useless. So I mistakenly opened up another one to compare could not identify the issue and snapped it back together, it has stopped working correctly too.
