Wed already seen a fair bit of different scenery during our Greek travels. It is a pebbly beach with a number of huge rocks dotted along the shore. Its a small but easy accessible island that is connected to Greece by a floating bridge. There are so many things to do in Lefkada, particularly if you like exploring the outdoors. But alls well that ends well, and nothing could bring the happy couple down. Egremni Beach is also a popular sandy beach surrounded by dramatic cliffs and accessed via steep steps. Location: 29 km south west of Town Visitors will also find a couple of tavernas here, though there are no sunbeds or umbrellas to rent. Aside from via narrow and steep pathways, the only other way to get to Milos Beach is by boat, normally from Agios Nikitas. Upon arrival at Gialos Beach you will find a parking area and also a small canteen for all your snacks and drinks for the day. Our AirBnB host was a lovely little apron-wearing lady who didnt seem to speak a whole lot of English, but very nicely came to meet us on the main road next to a restaurant and shop called Join In. She proceeded to guide our car through the pedestrians to the little holiday apartment wed booked, part of a two-storey row of about six. The water had all but dried up, and the majestic waterfall was more of a waterdribble. Thankfully after half an hour or so of walking, we realised we truly were for sure heading in the right direction. Mylos is a particularly lovely beach that is located just 14.5 kilometers southwest of Lefkada Town. Egremni beach up until 2019 could only be accessed by private boat which our company always feels proud to organize through our VIP Concierge Services for our Villa Guests, but announcements have been made recently by the Municipality of Lefkada, that in 2020 the road will be complete to access it by car. We turned off into a quiet lane filled with more blackberries and the odd square of garden dominated by chickens, dogs, or even better than thattiny baby kittens!!! After a great deal of confusion which led to us driving almost the entire way up a dirt track on a mountainside, we decided there was no way our AirBnB could be perched at such a high altitude (it definitely didnt look like that in the pictures, anyway) and reversed the whole way down. What a brilliant sight to behold! In September, when we arrived, disaster had struck. The car journey from Agios Nikitas to Nydri took around 40 minutes, passing back through the main town on the island (also named Lefkada) and then running parallel with the sea. Theres something quite surreal about watching someone electronically whisk instant coffee on a secluded beach, and all Im saying is, Rachels face throughout the whole process was a picture. Milos Beach truly is stunning, and without a doubt a visit here is one of the best things to do in Lefkada. Many hotels, watersports centres and fish taverns line this beach. She spooned several teaspoons of the granulated coffee into the flimsy plastic cup, poured in the water, and proceeded to blend the two together using a very well thought-out milk frother she happened to be carrying. Praise the lord. Next to it lie the crystalline turquoise waters of the Ionian Sea. It doesn't get much frequented unless if isolation is what you are asking for. Agiofili beach is located in a small bay at the south end of Lefkada. Description: This small beach is close to Kalamitsi. Its also a great place during the busy months of July and August to have on your list for the weekend to keep away from the more popular beaches on the island.

Agiofilli (South coast)- Popular & pretty white pebble beach which can be accessed by regular boat from Vassiliki Port (just ask at port). There are also a few tavernas/restaurants cafes etc. I can imagine the sight of two lasses having very differing reactions to these creepy crawlies was probs quite the comical one.
