The pools at the cumberland in and out were of a good standard, perhaps a little cold in the outdoor one. The penthouse rooms have exceptional views across the sea from the fourth floor. We had a fabulous buffet served in our room also. The dining room was well set out and i do not have a negative word to say about the breakfasts at all, the complimentary evening meal we had was exceptional as was the Maitre d who was from madeira, he ran the restaurant with perfection, if he ever left it would be such a shame, what a way he had with the children yet still carried on with the job.
