Although we didnt eat at the bistro, the food in there looked amazing. The resort was clean and the staff very friendly .I was at the resort over Memorial weekend and they had a pool party for the guests .I would definitely recommend the Westgate for your next getaway you will not be disappointed. 
Looking up reviews, it seemed like most other places in Myrtle Beach were. The weather was perfect when we went and we enjoyed a lot of sunny outdoor time. 
I think this should be opened to all guests. My only disappointment was, they are a Time Share Hotel, if you did not buy into the time share you were not considered a VIP guest therefore you did not get the morning breakfast which only Time Share guests got. Westgate was beautiful. Clearly, these circumstances do not reflect our dedication to the high standards we have committed to, and we apologize. Those lights were awe full and kept us up late as well as the sunlight at 6am on vacation!
They are double beds and not queen and the mattress was VERY uncomfortable. enjoyed our room was on the 6th floor oceanveiw room you have to ask to get clean towels daily also u have to put trash outside room daily, but they do come by and pick up! We have been owners through Westgate at the Town Center in Florida since 2004. There may be places nearby to rent these but I didnt see any.

Directly across the street is the Family Kingdom amusement park, an old-school carnival-type park that has all the best rides that I enjoyed as a kid, like the big swings, the Ferris wheel, the thunderbolt, the log flume, and bumper cars. Only issue was a lot of trash on the beach and floating in the water but thats typical. Visit the nearby amusement parks, water parks, shopping outlets, restaurants and live entertainment venues.

Its not in the more densely populated boardwalk promenade area, yet there is plenty to do within walking distance.
My kids and I stayed at the Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort in Gatlinburg, which has an indoor waterpark and is five minutes from the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, and had an incredible time. Clean, lots to do, COVID cleaning. I was grateful for the wood floors instead of carpet. Of course, the beach is literally right outside the resort and it took us all five minutes to walk there. I was there in April, 2012 and it wasn't done yet.
I let it be known n shown. The resort was nice and the staff was friendly. Both the one-bedroom and two-bedroom villas are equipped with kitchens. We had everything we needed. We would come back just to see him again!

My only complaint is that you cannot get a cup of coffee until area restaurants open around 7:30-8:00. The customer service at the resort was excellent. Westgate Resorts is dedicated to providing the best experience to all our guest, past, present and future. We had a full kitchen, which was so nice because I used it to make a small dinner the first night we were there and we ate on the big balcony and watched for dolphins. I didnt make a big deal. Some of the things on the website are not up-to-date for this particular property.
Beautiful location for the beach but this property needs to update their website and take care of the amenities that they do offer especially for it to be a Resort location, Disliked: Property conditions & facilities, Karen at the front desk was amazing she helped us alot. Disliked: Staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities. Lots of people were out looking for shells and shark teeth. The property was very clean and the staff was always friendly and very helpful.

You're awesome for doing it! The SkyWheel is a little over a mile walk from the resort but like I said above, it was an easy walk and we stopped in the beach shops along the way. The Westgate was in the best location. The property was good just some areas need to be updated for a better presentation, Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, Construction was being done on resort entrance, Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities. They have people on site who can help direct you to different shows or experiences you may want to do like ride a banana boat, go parasailing, or see the Pirates Voyage show. Also cant take pets on beach from 10 to 5.
Awesome. This was our second villa stay and we love the option to cook for ourselves and the washer and dryer! But we had so much fun that it was worth it.

Everything was delicious and fueled us up for a fun night at the Family Kingdom amusement park, which we did a couple of hours later because food and spinning rides dont go together. It was huge. We really loved this and if you pick up one of those coupon books around the resort, there is a coupon for $2 off your ticket. The only way we could get a room was to get an amusement park room. Bummed there wasnt a restaurant open for all meals, only dinner. You can stop at one of the piers and walk out onto it ($2/pp) or stop and grab a bite to eat. There are rides for both big and little kids and you can purchase a wristband that gives you unlimited rides or buy a set number of tickets to use at the rides you want to go on. Drafts Sports Bar & Grill is the on-site restaurant at the resort. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts as we head back to KY from an amazing trip away with you! It took us just over four hours to get there from Greenville and we never even got back in the car while at the resort until it was time to go home, since everything we did was within walking distance. For reference, I was there with my two kids, ages 10 and 6. Also, you could not have access to the beach chairs if you did not buy into the Time Share. Im sure there were other choices available. The bedroom was enormous with a dresser, TV, desk, and jetted tub. OH MY HEAVENS!!!

Westgate Myrtle Beach recently underwent a conversion of resort office space, creating an additional 28 newly renovated guestrooms, complete with modern touches and stocked with amenities for convenience and comfort. The tub had a strange bubbling film, almost like if you put a screen protector on a phone improperly and get bubbles. They do have parking nearby but youll walk a little ways. The pools looked great but had too many people for me so I opted for the beach. I liked how even though this is a dog friendly place, it didnt seem like it. This is especially important for those arriving on weekends, holidays or after standard business hours. But even though there were shows I wanted to see and things I wanted to do with my kids, the best times of the trip was when we just hung out at the pools and beach and did nothing. There are lounge chairs everywhere so you could easily just hang out and let the kids get out their energy in the water.
