A nice neutral light-weight everyday trainer. We encourage runners to pair up with a partner who is at a similar pace so that no one is running alone. I've also run in the first three versions of the Brooks Launch. 63, around 6 ft and just under 170 lbs, Did okay in a pair of Adrenaline GTS a coupe of years ago. The brooks Hyperion tempo blows all of those out of the water. Absolutely no rebound - I felt like I was running on several pieces of stacked cardboard or something. Love the design, breathable upper, stretchy laces, and responsive midsole. They are unlike any Brooks I have experienced! I am 200 miles into them and I wish I would have found them sooner. 35mm plus. and 5ft 6in I am a lightweight- heavier runners will certainly have different reactions. August 7th 2020Comments:I really have been loving the Brooks Hyperion Tempo and have 400 miles on my pairs with most of my miles coming on dirt roads. Hoping the outer sole lasts 400+ miles. This was very noticeable during faster strides and when doing longer runs. I replaced my Peg Turbo 2 with these. I enjoyed this snug fit, which still allowed room for my toes to splay. Generally speaking yes, with the exception of unsafe conditions such as lightning. They are so stretchy as to be almost unusable - very hard to get a good lockdown in these. And I found the 8mm drop to be a wonderful amount for this shoe. The shoe has an extremely thick midsole and extra cushioning. Doing about 50 miles per week at a little over 7 minute pace.
