Many were leaving because they were waiting so long. Friendly and fast service and outdoor seating on the main tourist drag. Got a table paralleling Front street and enjoyed people watching. The food also tastes good, recommend the fish taco and poke. Laid-back option serving fish, burgers & snacks in relaxed surrounds with a terrace. They dont take reservations so its first call first serve which means theirs usually a line but its worth the wait. Good job staff. Overall it is a great and fun place to eat. I enjoyed every bite, the ice was smooth and not hard to chew. Everything was fresh and flavorful! It can get pretty loud at Monkeypod, but that is typical for these types or places. I was disappointed in the coconut banana cream pie. The syrup was excellent, the flavors were authentic. The food was great, a nice mix of fresh and comfort food options. I enjoyed this establishment's uniqueness. Love love love! Let's start with the location, right on the beach, you can overlook the water as you're eating on their patio space. For all the folks complaining about food lacking flavor etc, this is coming from an Indian that has spicy or flavorful food all the time. My wife enjoyed the salad, however the dessert was a bit off as it was too sweet and syrupy.

Fish was dark and dense. Definitely would come back here again, a beautiful spot on the island - expensive though. Truly a 5 star experience. Tasty! We visited last night and we could not have had a better time!. Kimo's is a local favorite and our pick for Best Lunch Spot on Maui!. Local artists set up everyday during their happy hour and croon acoustic melodies of island favorites and oldies for hours. Its a fun restaurant with a good vibe. Nachos and sauce are not free to the table so there is a minor charge. We had a party of four reservation. .. but their customer service wasn't great or good. In Lahainas famous Whalers Village, theres a vast array of places to eat and to be entertained. The service was top notch.

Monkeypod is located near the rear of Whalers village towards the beach. But if I could give one recommendation, BRING BACK YOUR MEATLOAF Wow! This local favoritedespite its industrial park location is one of Maui's most popular restaurants. I think you come here for the views, not the food. They comped an appetizer and two desserts and gave me a card with a beautiful message and signed by the entire staff.

Super friendly staff and great menu options. Also don't miss the delicious Malasadas with Chocolate and Butterscotch Caramel Sauces for dessert. Even though this iconic dish can be found at all of TS Restaurants eight Hawaii locations (and a few in California, too), theres just something special about eating one at Kimos. The coconut shrimp however was really good and a must try.

Good place for a bite on the beach. It was bursting with flavor. Retro 1950s-diner-style cafe known for its burgers plus pulled pork, fish tacos & people-watching. The illusions are outstanding, fast-paced and entertaining, including a history of magic performers on the island and frequent audience participation (often coming up to individual tables for close-up magic). The trick is to order online because the kitchen will cook your order before those that order in house. Made for a great splurge night in Lahaina.

Highly recommend! Food was good and plentiful! The cheeseburger was also tasty and very well seasoned. Breakfast portions are huge and best accompanied by a $10 carafe of bloody marys or mimosas. Enjoy a hot meal and let the cook put on a show while he grills your food in front of you or choose from their famous sushi menu. Friendly staff. Can't believe how lucky we were! Family style menus so you will be sharing your plates. The food by no means tasted bad or wasn't prepared correctly, it just isn't Hawaiian anymore than the beach being there. It was real good. The counter intuitive beverage is fantastic. Our waitress was Monica who was not only sweet and efficient, but offered great recommendations. A real Hawaiian treat. Serving up fresh, house made noodles and asian dishes, Star Noodle has definitely made a name for itself in West Maui. First, choose your preparation. We had a new waitress in training, but you would have never known it!.

This Asian fusion restaurant has quite the following, and many regular Maui visitors make a point to eat here at least once during each vacation.

It was really really good although I wouldn't consider it much of a salad but more of an appetizer. We enjoyed our Sunday brunch. Well definitely not coming back here. I got a hibiscus coconut flavor and it was so crisp and refreshing.

If youre in Lahaina youve really got to try some noodles, and while there are plenty of places to do so this restaurant is worth seeking out (and doing so early; queues can get quite long, but if you call up 45 minutes in advance you can get your name on the list).

My wife and I got the Old World Pizza with pepperoni. Wish they were open longer hours so we could have dinner there too. I got the Fresh Catch Ono Cajun flavor with Cajun rice.

Nice place. I have never had a veggie pizza that tasted quite like that. Service is great as they put us in a lower table because we have a small kid with us. They tried to jip me when they handed change back to me for my order and looked at me weird when I pointed it out. The blackened ahi (grilled local Maui tuna) was cooked to perfection, topped with a mango salsa and the wasabi dipping sauce was the prefect compliment. Staff was also very friendly. If theres one thing that regular visitors to Maui can agree upon, it's to come for the ocean views and stay for the Hula Pie.
