Mine was cracked when someone did that :( Luckily my fab fabricator fixed it and no one can tell. I would consider having a very thorough inspection done. You can literally rotate them all the way to straight, so 5, 10, 15 or 27.3 degrees can be easily achieved. If you were venting straight up, you would have access from the attic and be able to attach a piece of rigid ducting to the vent and raise it straight up into position and make the final connections in the attic.
