I didnt realise just how know how fake and mannequinlike it looked until I went outside and saw the colour in daylight. A cheaper alternative, though its fake tan, not leg make up, is Rimmel SunShimmer Instant Tan Light Tan 12ml 6.99 Boots. Im really impressed it didnt rub off on your white dress! Its water and transfer resistant. Ooo I think I might try bronzer on top too! It also dries almost instantly (although give it a couple of minutes before getting dressed).
When applying be careful it dries very quickly so best to work in sections and blend immediately.

Shake can well. I tried Airbrush Legs and loved it because it gave me nice enough legs to be on show again. Youre probably wondering Will it rub off on my clothes? It evens outskin toneand will cover light blemishes, bruises and tiny veins. The horrible colour is best described as a cross between light orange and pale orange. Sometimes, when fake tan goes streaky and you apply another thin layer on top to even it out, you make it a million times worse.
There are two variations that I tried a lotion and a spray. I was talking (well moaning really), to a sales assistant about this product and she told meits very popular with make up artists. You can also layer it over itself.

No streaks. Love your blog Sounds horrendous. I bought the spray version in shade LightGlow. It was easily the most artificial shade ever created by man (and Im sure it was a man). Goes on nicely, it just gives you natural (NOPE!)
This doesnt happen, Airbrush Legs has fabulous staying power. just have the look of wearing good quality sheer tights, (NO, CHEAP AMERICAN TAN ONES) but freedom of bare legs, instantly smooth and dry!

I used this years ago and even though it dries almost immediately and is a nightmare to blend (and wash off your hands), it does the trick when the sun makes an unexpected early appearance and you need to cover up pasty legs.
But how does it look compared to your arms, etc./what do you do to make sure your tan is consistent?
When you kicked your shoes off, all the tan would be rubbed away and your feet would be white. Application wise, I think this product is better in lotion form. True, the main thing I had a problem with it is the unnatural looking shade, the Light Glow shade IS American Tan, which IS orangey and fake looking thats indisputable.
